Golden Coast (Costa Daurada)
The entire Costa Daurada enjoys a typically Mediterranean climate, with mild temperatures in winter and warm summers, with little rainfall. The orography makes the climate stable, ideal for outdoor activities all year round. Temperatures range between 14º on average in winter and 21-29º in the summer months.
The name Costa Daurada comes from the tiny golden fragments, of mineral origin, that we find mixed with the sand along the entire coastline. Many of the beaches on the Costa Daurada have been awarded the blue flag by the European Environmental Education Foundation, as has our beach in Eldorado. Towns such as Calafell, Salou or Cambrils have been certified by the Generalitat as family tourism destinations par excellence.
